I recorded my go-to practice for moments of anxiety, combining mantra, mudra, and breath to reduce anxiety and bring a sense of balance to the breath and mind. We'll be using the mantra "SaTaNaMa" to guide our practice. As you silently repeat the mantra in your mind, we'll connect specific fingers, creating a mudra that enhances the calming effects.
INHALE
1️⃣ Sa (connect thumb and index finger)
2️⃣ Ta (connect thumb and middle finger)
3️⃣ Na (connect thumb and ring finger)
4️⃣ Ma (connect thumb and little finger)
EXHALE
1️⃣ Sa (connect thumb and index finger)
2️⃣ Ta (connect thumb and middle finger)
3️⃣ Na (connect thumb and ring finger)
4️⃣ Ma (connect thumb and little finger)
Let the mantra, mudra, and breath flow together for a few moments. Notice how your breath lengthens and equalizes, and the calming effect it has on your mind. It is the best practice to reduce anxiety for me. I hope it will help you too.
